History
In the mid 1960s, while employed in the Service Department at Grumman, Daniel J. Ryan conceived of and introduced a computerized maintenance program for the then new Gulfstream II corporate jet. Shortly thereafter, in 1967, he and three co-workers left the aerospace giant to found CAMP, and bring Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Programs to the business aviation industry at large. This founding team developed programs for a variety of aircraft. These programs were accepted quickly and widely. Gulfstream I operators North American Van Lines and Trans Canada Pipeline signed on as CAMP’s first customers.
Today, CAMP has grown to become the world’s leading Aircraft Maintenance Tracking Solutions provider. CAMP’s product suite includes Maintenance Management, Inventory Management, Flight Scheduling and Engine Health Monitoring. CAMP Maintenance is used worldwide by over 15,000 aircraft owners and covers more than 190 models, making it the largest service of its kind. CAMP is the only company endorsed by Airbus ACJ, Beechcraft, Bell Helicopter, Boeing BBJ, Bombardier, Cessna, Daher, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, HondaJet, Piaggio, and Pilatus with support for most other OEMs. CAMP is the exclusive Engine Health Monitoring provider for all Pratt & Whitney Canada engines and Honeywell TFE and HTF engines.
