CAMP Welcome Site for Honeywell TFE and HTF Series Customers

Welcome

Dear TFE and HTF Series Engine Operators,

I am happy to announce that Honeywell Aerospace has selected CAMP Systems as the exclusive provider of Engine Performance Trend Monitoring for the TFE and HTF series engines. For well over seventy percent of you, you are already subscribers to our industry leading Aircraft Maintenance Tracking product, so this announcement means you’ll be able to enjoy new services in CAMP. For the remaining thirty percent of customers, welcome aboard!

This website will give you an overview of what you should expect from the CAMP service, the transition from the current provider, timelines, who to contact with questions and more. The website will be updated periodically with new information, so please check back often.

As you will learn by reviewing the sections of this website, the integration of Engine Trend Monitoring and CAMP Maintenance will offer you functionality for managing your engines which has not been offered by any supplier in the past. The introduction of this functionality, as well as what is planned for the future, has led CAMP to rename this service Engine Health Monitoring (EHM). We see CAMP EHM as one of your essential tools for analyzing the operational well being of your aircraft’s engine(s). CAMP EHM can help you reduce operating costs; improve reliability and performance; and ensure the safety of your aircraft.

Please review this website and send your questions on to the contacts listed, they will get back to you quickly and are there to help you as your engines migrate over to CAMP.

Sincerely,

Ken Gray
CEO, CAMP Systems International

Overview

Beginning in 2014, CAMP will migrate customers from the current Engine Trend provider to CAMP’s Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) service.  The migration schedule will be based on the customer MSP/FMP agreement anniversary date. Nothing is required from you today. A month before your engine(s) migration, you will receive a welcome packet from CAMP directing you to an online enrollment form that has to be completed for each aircraft that will migrate.

Honeywell and CAMP will ensure that there will be minimal disruption in service as CAMP begins providing the service to you. When you receive your welcome packet, you will be required to submit your engine data to an email address hosted by CAMP. All of your engine health results will be available on CAMP’s website. If you do not have a logon for CAMP, you will receive one during the enrollment process. Additionally there are a number of email notification options that you can sign up for and manage on the CAMP website that will ensure that the results of analysis comes right to your inbox.

Later this year CAMP will add EHM to CAMP’s iCAMP ipad and iphone apps.  In that way you can have the data and tools right at your fingertips.

FAQ

Honeywell TFE and HTF Engine Support and Migration

  1. What is the relationship between Honeywell and CAMP?
  2. Honeywell has contracted with CAMP to be the exclusive provider of Trend Monitoring Services for the TFE and HTF series engines.  Trend monitoring remains a requirement for all engines that participate in Honeywell’s MSP warranty program.

  3. I have been using the current provider as my trend service provider to meet my requirement to trend for MSP. Do I have to switch to CAMP?
  4. Yes, beginning in 2014 CAMP will be the required trend service provider for TFE and HTF engines on MSP. Nothing is required from you today; you will be notified 30 days in advance of the transition.

  5. Can I still use the current provider for oil analysis; can I still use them for this service?
  6. Yes, the services for oil analysis will not be affected as part of this new arrangement for trending. CAMP will track your oil samples in their online application going forward for any oil analysis lab approved by Honeywell.

  7. In transferring to CAMP, will my historical trend data transfer with me?
  8. Yes, Honeywell and CAMP are working together to ensure your trend data is in CAMP and that your trend analysis and status continues without interruption.

  9. I use CAMP for my aircraft maintenance tracking service; will I have to have another login to get to my trend status?
  10. No, part of the benefit of this arrangement between Honeywell and CAMP is that Maintenance Tracking and Trend Monitoring will be integrated into CAMP for you. If you do not have a current CAMP account, one will be created for you as part of enrollment.

  11. What features will be available for trend support in CAMP for me?
  12. CAMP will have an entirely new Engine Home page in CAMP that will display your trend status, fault history, oil analysis history and more. CAMP will have a number of email alerts you can subscribe to which will keep you notified of trend status changes. There will be an interface from CAMP to the Honeywell Integrated Engine Services site to allow you to troubleshoot trend results, faults and more.

  13. Who will be performing my trend analysis?
  14. CAMP is the largest provider of Trend Analysis services in general aviation with trained trend analysts located in four of our CAMP locations. You’ll be able to work with a trend analyst anytime you have questions or require support.

Migration/Enrollment Schedule

Migration of engines will begin in April extending to June 2014. Your enrollment date will be based on your anniversary month for your MSP/FMP account with Honeywell. An electronic enrollment wizard will become available in CAMP 4 to 6 weeks prior to your scheduled migration date to verify your aircraft and account information. After your engines are enrolled in CAMP, your Trend status will be available in CAMP going forward.
