Welcome

Dear CAMP Customer,

We are excited to announce the availability of the CAMP Engine Health Monitoring (CAMP EHM) application for Pratt and Whitney Canada (P&WC) engines. As you are already aware, CAMP is the authorized engine condition trend monitoring provider for all P&WC engines. P&WC provides CAMP the critical trend algorithms and key performance software that ensures your engines are properly monitored to optimize operation.

The CAMP EHM application offers several enhanced benefits over the current trend monitoring application. These include support for more advance trend monitoring algorithms from P&WC, better reporting and alerting mechanisms, and most importantly integration with the CAMP Maintenance Tracking application which you are most likely already familiar with and use on a regular basis.

As always, the EHM service is supported by qualified CAMP engine analysts who review your engine data to ensure safe and efficient operation of your engines and provide recommendations when corrective actions or maintenance may be required.

As part of transitioning our trend monitoring service to CAMP EHM, we are migrating your aircraft’s engine data from the legacy application to the new application. The migration of aircraft will be done in a phased manner (based on engine types) in order to ensure a high level of quality in the migration. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition and minimize the impact on your operation.

Please refer to the Migration/Enrollment Schedule on this page for when your aircraft is scheduled to be migrated.

Sincerely,

Your CAMP EHM Team

Overview

Beginning June 2015, CAMP will migrate customers from WebECTM and Turbine Tracker to CAMP’s Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) service integrated with our Maintenance application. The migration will continue through the first half of 2016. A month before your engines’ migration, you will receive a welcome packet with further instructions.

CAMP will ensure that there will be minimal disruption in service as CAMP begins providing the service to you. All of your engine health results will be available on CAMP’s website. If you do not have a logon for CAMP, you will receive one during the enrollment process. Additionally there are a number of email notification options that you can sign up for and manage on the CAMP website that will ensure that the results of analysis come right to your inbox.

Features of CAMP EHM

In 2015, CAMP will begin migrating its P&WC engine customers to its integrated Maintenance Tracking and Engine Trending Services. This is a single web based solution in which you can monitor both maintenance activities and your engines’ health.

Sneak Peek into EHM screens

Aircraft Home Page

For aircraft that have engines on CAMP EHM, there is an Engine Trend Status window to show you the latest trend status of your engine.

Engine Health Page

The new Engine Status page shows detailed Trend Status and recent Fault data. The Engine Health page also provides the results from your current and past Trend Reviews. These Trend Reviews are provided by your Engine Analyst and are the results of their assessment provided after your engine data is submitted to the CAMP EHM system. If your Trend Review requires an action you will have the ability to respond to the Engine Analyst via the application by providing a description of the action taken.

Trend Graph

The Trend Graph can show you what your analyst saw in your data and why a maintenance action is recommended.

Fleet EHM Status Report

Customers may subscribe to periodic reports that provide the Trend Status, Trend Graphs and latest upload data for their engines. For an example of this report click here.

We are migrating historical data now through the first half of 2016. If you have any questions please contact Trend Support at trendsupport@campsystems.com

FAQ

Pratt & Whitney Canada Engine Support and Migration

  1. How will my engine trending process change?
  2. CAMP will continue to support every engine with an Engine Analyst located in one of our analysis centers. Upon receipt of data the Engine Analyst will initiate a Trend Review that will summarize the analysis of your engine. If you are required to take action as a result of the Trend Review you will receive a Trend Request through the application that will direct you on the required actions.

  3. Will my engine data upload process change?
    • If your data is automatically uploaded from your aircraft/computer, you don’t have to make any changes.
    • If you email your data, you can continue to email as always.
    • If you upload your data files through the legacy application, you will upload through the new application. See screenshot below:
    • If you manually enter cruise data through the legacy application, you will enter the data through the new application. See screenshot below:
  4. How will my Trend Status change?
  5. In the CAMP EHM system each engine is assigned a Trend Status as the result of a Trend Review. The Trend Status is represented in many of the screens and alerts using a set of color-coded icons. These icons are as follows:

Significant Trend Shift  Significant trend indication has been detected. Recommend engine troubleshooting at earliest opportunity.
Trend Shift  Trend indication has been detected. Recommend engine troubleshooting to confirm trend at the next convenient opportunity.
Recommendation  Engine trends show issue(s), related to matters such as the indication system, data quality or a possible maintenance action.
A customer action is recommended at the next convenient opportunity.
Notification  Engine trends show issue(s) related to the indication system, data quality or a possible maintenance action.
This status is used for notification purposes only.
Normal  Engine trends do not show any issue.

  6. In transferring to CAMP, will my historical trend data transfer with me?
  7. Yes, CAMP is working to ensure your trend data is in CAMP and that your trend analysis and status continues without interruption. With some exceptions your trend data back to your latest engine installation date will be transferred.

  8. I use CAMP for my aircraft maintenance tracking service; will I have to have another login to get to my trend status?
  9. No, part of the benefit of this move to CAMP EHM is that Maintenance Tracking and Trend Monitoring will be integrated into CAMP for you. If you do not have a current CAMP account, one will be created for you as part of enrollment.

  10. What features will be available for trend support in CAMP for me?
  11. You will have an entirely new Engine Health page in CAMP that will display your trend status, fault history, manual and electronic data upload and more. CAMP will have a number of email alerts you can subscribe to which will keep you notified of trend status changes. CAMP also has on demand reports and a Fleet EHM Status page that provides an aggregate view of the Trend Status of all your aircraft.

  12. Who will be performing my trend analysis?
  13. CAMP is the largest provider of Trend Analysis services in general aviation with trained trend analysts located in four of our CAMP locations. You’ll be able to work with a trend analyst anytime you have questions or require support.
